Yves Saint Laurent
Yves Henri Donat Mathieu-Saint-Laurent was born on August 1, 1936, in Oran, Algeria. He grew up in a creative environment, showing an early interest in fashion and design. At the age of 17, he moved to Paris, where he began his career in fashion by working as an assistant to Christian Dior. Following Dior's death in 1957, Saint Laurent became the head of the House of Dior, where he introduced groundbreaking designs that transformed women's fashion.
